If you want to build a road you level, water and compact, and that is exactly what a lot of riders do to their arena and they then wonder why their horse pulls up short or gets sore legs. Other riders just keep on adding more surface, but whilst that cures the problem for a short time it does not eliminate the cause. It does not matter that you do Dressage or Jumping, the same basic issues apply. I only make these for fun, not to make any "real" money, and thats reflected in the price. I do this because I know they work and if we can make life easier for the horses then they will perform better and last longer. If they were being professionally marketed you could expect to pay significantly more! Only quality componentary is used, and the Majik MiniGroomer is built out of steel that will last, no shoddy thin wall "muck" that falls to bits at the first bump. All the machines are hot dip galvanised so they will last many years. Yes, its costs a bit more, but I want your groomer to be going in ten years time as well as the day you purchased it. The only maintance required might be a set of new tines when you have worn yours out, and maybe a wheel bearing or two. I donate some of the profits to Dressage NZ and Dressage event sponsorships, because I believe in giving back to the sport that we are getting so much from. You will note that the "tines" are sloped to the rear, this reducing the likelihood that they will flick a stone to the surface like so many other arena groomers/drags. ***Majik MiniGroomers are built to order and you need to allow at least three weeks from the time of ordering to the time of dispatch. |
